We have the pleasure to present new works by SWOON (main floor), who recently spent most of her year 2011 to build monumental site-specific installations in American museums. No installation this time, but a more traditional, simple presentation of works comprising collages on wood, small and medium, as well as recent linocut prints on mylar, inspired by the themes developed in her recent museum installations. A unique occasion for the visitor and collector to appreciate Swoon's work in a clearer setting than usual.
We are also showing an exhibition focused on contemporary ceramics (lower floor). Here, no vases, jugs or jars: body moldings and "Apex" by Alix Marie (France), figurative scenes by Eun-mi Oh (South Korea) or blob characters by Brendan Monroe (USA), demonstrate the vitality of a technique which is coming back in contemporary art since the past years.
